In the interest of learner and educator safety, and following consultation with the Provincial Disaster Management Centre and the South African Weather Service, the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) has announced that all schools in the province will be closed tomorrow, 12 May 2026.

Just get lekker guys. Not guys that put the tape loop on and eat KFC at night shift. In my days the presenters on night shift gig where on line because the radio station was their go to for massages to loved ones and family
I miss the good old days when I looked forward to listening to Radio Helderberg on a Thursday nights from 9pm to 12pm.I dont think this station will ever be able to make a come back after they lost a huge number of listeners on that time slot but I like your comment John Smit.Radio Helderberg send out a poll and give people thats living in the Helderberg area,Overberg and the rest of Cape Town a chance to vote and then plan your programmes accordingly.
